Your support helps the Junior League of Greenville show up all year.
Behind every project are members shopping for supplies, packing bags, preparing meals, coordinating volunteers, communicating with partners, setting up events, tracking needs, and showing up when the community calls. When you support the Junior League of Greenville, NC you help fund both the visible work and the behind-the-scenes effort that makes service sustainable.
Help fill the bags that fill a gap.
Each month, Junior League members purchase, pack, and coordinate for Pitt County Public Schools students and families. Backpack Buddies bags include full-size hygiene items and shelf-stable food, providing practical support through a trusted school partnership.

Before most of Greenville starts the day, Junior League members are already serving.
Twice each month, our members arrive before 6:00 a.m. to cook and serve breakfast for nearly 50 guests at the local homeless shelter.
This service begins long before the meal is served. Members shop monthly for food and supplies, prepare breakfast, serve guests, and help provide a consistent morning meal with care and dignity.
2,800+ volunteer hours to local food insecurity
Food insecurity service is one of the League’s most consistent year-round commitments.
Between Backpack Buddies, shelter breakfasts, food pantry service, and healthy food access efforts, JLG Members contribute an estimated 2,400–3,000+ volunteer hours each year to help meet basic needs across Greenville and Pitt County.

The Work Behind the Mission
Service does not happen by accident.
It takes planning, training, transportation, communication, supplies, storage, early mornings, late nights, and volunteers who understand both the immediate need and the larger purpose.
Your support helps provide the foundation that allows this work to continue, not just once, but throughout the year.

Connecting More People to Local Impact
Through Volunteer Expo, we have helped connect 40+ local organizations with community members looking for meaningful ways to serve. This free community event gives nonprofits, schools, civic groups, and local initiatives a place to share their work, recruit volunteers, and build stronger community connections.
